I really like Homespun myself. I almost use it exclusively for afghans or scarves. I agree about the rhythm. I practice a stitch on inexpensive bulky yarn before I get into a skein of Homespun.

I have the very same problem. You have to crochet so loosely! I think that’s what I like about it. It’s a total challenge.

I’m not sure. I haven’t tried knitting with it, lol. I love to crochet with it, though. For me the key is that I have to make myself crochet in a way that feels absurdly loose, but turns out the be just right for this yarn. It’s always a pain until I get the rhythm of it.

Deb, is Homespun easier to knit with than to crochet with? I tried it once and OMG, nightmare. It’s soooo pretty though – the colorways tempt me every time!
