Yay!

The new Crochet Insider is up! 🙂

A Practically Hyperbolic Dishcloth

Remember these?

The pattern is now available! It’s up on Ravelry right now, and I’m in the process of getting it a page set up here and listing it at Etsy, too. Yay!

ETA: OK, it’s everywhere. 😀

Catching up.

Well then. I certainly wasn’t expecting to take quite that much of a break. Silly life, always getting in the way of my better intentions!

I’ve been absolutely blasting through my pile of UFOs, so there ought to be some yummy stuff in the shop in the next week or so. Mostly dishcloths of one variety or another, and at least one pattern that should be ready to list at Etsy and on Ravelry tomorrow. So it’s going to be quite an exciting week that way.

I’ve also been managing to finish off some little side projects of my own, mostly of the knitting-is-fun variety. Eventually I’ll have FO pics to share, but I’ve got to clean off the camera first.

Also? Tracie from Shade Tree Crochet has been pattern testing for me and I have to tell you all that she is absolutely the most fantastic person to work with! I almost don’t want to tell you how awesome she is because I want to keep her awesomeness all to myself, lol. Seriously, though, thank you, Tracie! You’re incredible. 🙂

And I think that’s about it for the moment. If you don’t hear from me for another little while, I’ve jumped on the looking-for-a-day-job wagon, so things are a little busy that way, too. If anybody needs an admin type virtually or in SE Mass, let me know!

See you soon.

Love. Love love love. Love!

Here is the pattern.

I made a few boo-boos but nothing big enough to rip back for.

Easy enough for my first attempt at lace, tough enough to keep my attention…and can I tell you how neat it was to see the pattern forming as I knit? I think I’m hooked. *swoon*

Now if someone could just find those extra 4 hours a day I need to have *time* for a lace obsession, I’ll be eternally grateful. Kthxbai. 😀

I just keep getting behinderer.

Thanks for your patience. My seven-month-old son had a weird allergic reaction a little over a week ago, so we’ve been running around in even more frantic circles than usual here trying to get him sorted out. We’ve got enough of a handle on things now to get back to normal (whatever that is, anyway!) so here’s an update on the crochet front:

First off, the pattern that I’ve been vaguely talking about since time began: almost done. I’ve been working on it so long I’m not sure how I feel about it any more, quite honestly, so when I’ve got the (hopefully) final version made all the way up, I’ll be getting in touch with folks who expressed an interest in testing. It’s a couple-few hours worth of work with RHSS, so if there’s anyone else out there who’s curious, let me know. If we can all stay reasonably healthy, this should be happening this week.

Secondly…oh, goodness, I know there was a secondly. I’ve been interrupted 5-ish times in the last paragraph, so I’m not sure what else I was going to write about. This is why folks sometimes get e-mail from me at 2 in the morning. It’s the only time I have the peace and quiet to get anything done! LOL.

More when I catch up with myself a bit more…

Very quick update.

I’m knitting this.

It’s making me happy.

Sorry for the little lapse in posting.

Liable to be slow here this week…I had all sorts of goodies lined up but life had other plans.

Back soonest.

Too exciting! (Updated!)

My patterns are now available for sale as Ravelry downloads! Yay!

If you’re on Ravelry, you can grab them there, I’m neatlytangled and the store is ‘Neatly Tangled Designs.’ If you’re not, I’m hoping to get buttons up here by the end of the day. I’ll update when I’ve managed to get it done. I’d hold off announcing it all if I weren’t so excited! LOL.

Updated: They’re up! You can find them using the patterns tab above, or here:

Little Birds in Their Nests

It’s been a silly week.

So not much crocheting going on here. Working on some dishcloths for the shop, and another pattern that needs tidying-up and testing (any would-be testers in the audience?).

How ’bout you?

Here’s a little pattern you might like.

I was playing around the other night and got such a big reaction from the kids over these that I went ahead and wrote it up: the Bring Spring! Bunnies:

The pattern is also available as a free Ravelry download, if you’re a member there.

Have fun!
